The newest Oura Ring is 40 percent smaller, with next-generation sensing for best-in-class accuracy and a week-long battery life

ŌURA, a leading health intelligence platform and maker of the world’s leading smart ring, today announced the launch of Oura Ring 5 in India. At 40 percent smaller than Oura Ring 4, Oura Ring 5 features a more compact and comfortable design, with next-generation sensing, advanced health insights and up to one week of battery life. Starting October 22nd, 2026, Oura Ring 5 will be available for pre-order in India through Amazon and Croma.

“India represents an exciting opportunity for ŌURA as more people look to technology that fits seamlessly into their lives, helping them not just track their health, but better understand it through increasingly personalised and predictive insights,” said George Abbott, Head of EMEA and APAC at ŌURA. “Oura Ring 5 brings that vision to life: it’s smaller and more comfortable to wear, including during exercise and sport, while giving members a deeper understanding of how their sleep, activity, stress and recovery connect. We’re excited to bring that experience to more people across India.”

Smaller By Design. Built for Everyday Life.

Built on more than twelve years of industry-leading innovation, Oura Ring 5 has been re-engineered to deliver a thinner, lighter and more comfortable design without compromising performance. Crafted from lightweight, non-allergenic titanium, it is 40 percent smaller than Oura Ring 4, with smoother curvature and low-profile sensor domes designed for continuous wear and improved skin contact. Its next-generation sensing architecture combines more powerful LEDs with 12 optimised signal pathways to capture clearer, more reliable health signals across a wider range of finger types and skin tones. These signals are translated through the Oura App into personalised, actionable insights across health, activity and wellbeing. And with 6-9 days of battery life on a single charge – depending on size and usage – Oura Ring 5 makes it easier to track your health continuously, day and night.

Available in sizes 6 to 13 and six finishes, including Black, Silver, Stealth, Brushed Silver, a redesigned Gold in a lighter, modern shade closer to true gold, and Deep Rose in a rich copper-rose finish, Oura Ring 5 pairs advanced technology with a discreet, everyday design.

A Deeper, More Personalised View of Health for India

For members in India, Oura Ring 5 pairs its re-engineered sensing with ŌURA’s latest health experiences to turn everyday signals into a clearer picture of what’s changing and the patterns behind it.

Health Radar: A More Proactive Approach to Health
Building on Symptom Radar, which launched in 2024, Health Radar continuously monitors key biometric signals in the background to help members identify meaningful changes and patterns that may warrant attention. Designed in collaboration with more than 40 in-house medical doctors and PhDs, the experience provides a more proactive view of health, with a particular focus on cardiovascular health and nighttime breathing.

At the heart of Health Radar is Blood Pressure Signals, which analyses 30 days of nighttime ring data to help members identify patterns that may indicate cardiovascular strain. Alongside it, Nighttime BP uses overnight PPG signals to surface blood-pressure-related patterns and longer-term trends, offering insights into cardiovascular health that may not be apparent from daytime measurements alone. Members can also log readings from a blood pressure cuff directly in the Oura App, keeping these measurements alongside their broader health data. Blood Pressure Signals and Nighttime BP are wellness features: they don’t measure blood pressure in mmHg or diagnose any condition.

Health Radar also includes Nighttime Breathing, providing a rolling 30-day view of sleep-related breathing patterns and disturbances. By looking beyond individual nights, the sleep wellness experience helps members recognise changes over time and better understand when further evaluation by a healthcare professional may be warranted.

GLP-1 Insights: A More Connected View of Your Health Journey
For members taking GLP-1 medications, ŌURA’s GLP-1 Insights brings medication tracking and continuous biometric data together in one place, providing a more holistic view of their health journey. Members can log medication doses, schedules, side effects and weight changes alongside Oura signals including Sleep, Activity, Readiness and stress.

By connecting medication information with longer-term health trends, the experience helps members better understand how their health data and medication use relate over time, and can help inform conversations with healthcare providers. GLP-1 Insights is available in India through the Oura App in English for members with Oura Ring Gen3 or newer.

Women’s Health: Understanding the Impact of Perimenopause
Recognising that women’s health experiences are highly individual, ŌURA’s Menopause Insights helps members better understand how perimenopause may be affecting their quality of life. At the centre of the experience is the Menopause Impact Scale, a research-driven clinical questionnaire developed by ŌURA’s clinical and science teams to assess how much symptoms affect everyday life.

Covering areas including sleep, mood, cognition and daily functioning, the assessment translates members’ responses into an overall impact level, while highlighting the areas contributing most to it. By providing a clearer picture of how symptoms may be affecting their wellbeing, the experience helps women better understand their perimenopause journey and have more informed conversations about their health.

Cardio Effort and automatic VO2 Max: Detailed Context for Every Workout

The recent introduction oftwo new activity features helps members understand how exercise supports long-term cardiovascular health. Cardio Effort measures cardiovascular exertion during workouts, tracking weekly effort against a personalised baseline based on resting heart rate. Available in Oura Labs, automatic VO2 Max estimates aerobic fitness through GPS-enabled walks, runs and hikes, without requiring a dedicated walking test.
