Aster Prime Hospital Staff Plant 200 Saplings on World Environment Day
Planting trees is our way of giving back to the planet that nurtures us. Today’s campaign is a small but meaningful step towards a greener and healthier future. Together, let’s create a world where care for the environment goes hand in hand with care for people, said Dr. Devanand Kolothodi, CEO of Aster Prime Hospital, on the occasion of World Environment Day. He emphasized that trees are vital sources of oxygen, which is increasingly essential in today’s times. The only way to combat pollution caused by vehicles and other sources is by planting more trees, he noted.
As part of the World Environment Day celebrations, volunteers from Aster Prime Hospital planted 200 saplings on Thursday at KLN Yadav Park in Sanathnagar. The program took place from 10 AM to 1 PM. The initiative was held under the hospital’s “Go Green” campaign, aimed at preserving the environment and increasing greenery in pollution-prone areas of the city.
Staff members from various departments of the hospital, local residents, and members of the Resident Welfare Association participated in the tree plantation drive, paving the way for a healthier environment.
